Newbie Build for Study & Gaming - Netherlands

Budget (including currency): 2500 EUR

Country: Netherlands

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Study - reading, writing reports, coding and programming. Playing Valorant and other AAA Games like Baldur's gate, Elden ring, cyberpunk, Hogwarts legacy etc.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc.):

I have made a pcpartpicker list, pls check it out - https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/RMC328 - Basically I need more than 200 fps in valorant and for coding I need to run Julia and simulation programs like Matlab, python etc.

Hi, I just made this build at pcpartpicker after skimming through the forum and watching some YouTube videos and since I am starting my studies this year, I require upgrade from my laptop to a pc with which I can study, code and game at the same time. Hopefully this is quite good, and it fits my budget, let me know if any suggestions or upgrades are required for this build.

Quick q, what are you going to run on python?

Are you doing AI stuff as an example?

Yes I am going to start doing research projects with discrete element modelling and soil microstructure study simulation, also maybe climate modelling, rainfall percolation models etc. I aim to do ML & AI applications related to the same. i.e., do AI based models for the same

4080 for not that much upcharge. 300 euro should still be enough for taxes and shipping, and all but the CG560 is shipped and fulfilled by Amazon so bust out a burner account and get free shipping through Prime.

I'd prefer to go for 4070 Ti and invest the extra on liquid cooler or is liquid cooler not required? also i might use the extra for buying a monitor etc.

I found the liquid cooler as a nice aesthetic, is it overated or not required? also is MSI MAG Tomohawk a worse motherboard than MSI B760?
