Budget (including currency): ~$2500 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Minecraft, Call of Duty, Titanfall 2, Forza Horizon 5 and Farming Sim 22 with sim rig, Starfield (when it releases),PCVR with Oculus Quest 2, and Light CAD/CAM Engineering

Other details This will be my first pc build. I mostly picked parts by popularity, color and what I have learned from watching LTT videos. I was going for something mid to hi end but also not on unlimited budget. I’m planning keeping all my peripherals from my current setup except a new monitor (listed in pc parts) I’m doing my research now and hoping to start building in the next couple of months. I looking for any advice on ways to make it an easy build with consistent long term performance. Feel Free to add any criticism and or correct me if I have chosen anything incompatible.

Welcome to the forum! I'll try to go through these picks one by one.

This is a decent choice. If it weren't for the CAD load though, I'd probably suggest swapping to the 7800X3D as it's 1/3 the power consumption and a bit faster in games. If you don't do cad more than once a week with minor projects though, it's probably worth swapping.

This is a very expensive AIO for what it is, you can get 360mm ones for this price also in white since it seems like you're trying for a white theme.

The CPU cooler comes with thermal paste that will be plenty good enough, no need to buy this.

This is really expensive for a B760 board, if you're going to be spending this much you really should be getting a Z690/Z790 board. That's almost the same price as the Z690 Carbon, easily the best value high-end board on LGA 1700. Realistically I'd probably recommend spending the extra $20 to get the Carbon instead and ditch the white theme on that lone component as long as you're willing to do BIOS flashback.

Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory

Not a memory kit I'd recommend, for that price you can get something a fair bit faster while maintaining that white color scheme.

Fine choice

Storage: Samsung 870 Evo 4 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive

A bit weirder choice. First off, the list you included was a 2TB drive, not a 4TB drive, is that a typo or was the wrong one added to the list? Assuming you meant the 4TB drive, it's cheaper to just get another Crucial P3 instead, but a 4TB version. Might as well do that and enjoy the faster storage.

Case: Corsair iCUE 4000D RGB AIRFLOW ATX Mid Tower Case

I'm not the biggest fan of this case, IMO it's a bit too expensive for what it is, though if you like it that's fine. I'd just probably swap it out for the Lian Li Lancool 216 as it's $50 cheaper and in my experience a much nicer case to build in.

Power Supply: Corsair RM850 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

This one's a bit weirder. I get wanting white everything, including the PSU, but the case has a PSU shroud, you're not going to be able to see it anyway. Might as well save a bit of money and get the black version instead, or from another vendor.

You can get these for $20 from key resellers, go that route rather than buying one directly from MS for $100+ and put that money towards a better GPU.

Case Fan: Corsair iCUE SP RGB ELITE 47.73 CFM 120 mm Fan

If you swap to the case I recommended, you wouldn't even need this fan anyway and can save that $20 as well.

Doing all that, you can upgrade the GPU to a 7900 XTX for about the same budget ($70 more, but for the performance uplift that's well worth it IMO). Didn't touch the monitor because I don't know enough about them to make a good recommendation outside a handful of known goods, so ask someone else about that.

Wait until then before asking for specific recommendations. Prices in the PC industry move around a ton, so more than a week going by is enough time to go from a system being a killer value to being meh at best, let alone 2-3 months when we're going to get new CPUs releasing (14th gen), new GPUs releasing from AMD (7700 XT and 7800 XT), and a whole host of other sales and price changes by then. By then, likely the only thing I'd still be recommending is the case, and even that's not guaranteed.

Hello, and Welcome... I went the AMD route to save some money and max out the GPU potential for you. I was able to throw in a 24GB White AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX! And I was able to get it $100 under your budget.

All the other parts are White as well minus the PSU, I added Cable extensions for them so that all you see is the White Cables.

I was also able to find you a Windows 11 Key for under $30. It's all in the List as well as a Monitor too.

I have been building PCs for 30 years so if you have any questions please ask. DM me if you want to know more about what I do.

Iffy. I really want to pair this with the 4080 instead for less headache on the VR side of thing but beyond that your list is quite solid. The performance is so close to fixed for Oculus but for what it is its still not plug and play yet.

I've looked pretty much all of these "AMD's VR performance is terrible" videos before i bought my 6900XT and not only did i have no issues with it, it was WAY easier to setup than with Nvidia. The problem most of these reviewers had is actually with The Oculus app, which i don't use anyway. I always launch my games in VR from Steam. The Oculus software is to the Quest what G-HUB is to the Logitech wheels - absolute nightmare. You just install it when you want a firmware update, and then uninstall it instantly. It doesn't matter if you have Nvidia or AMD GPU - it's a pain in the ass to work with it in both cases.
