Case USB C port not working

I just bought a Lian Li O11 AIr Mini and after installing everything into it I found the USB C port isn't working. The case connector is a 3.1 Gen 2 and the motherboard is 3.2 Gen 2x2. Could there be some incompatibility between the two that would make it not work? And are there adapters that I can get to get it working? Thank you!

As long as it physically fits on the board's socket it should work. The case's connector is just a cable and doesn't have a specific version, even if it is advertised as such.

 

Make sure the connector is seated properly. Otherwise check the cable for possible damage.
