Cant run my G.Skill Trident Z Royal to 3600MHZ

So i just recently built my first PC and whenever i enable XMP on my bios my system would turn into black screen, so what i did was remove the Cmos battery to reset it and go back to my bios.

Upon setting it to 3200 Mhz it works perfectly fine, i just want to maximize the performance of my ram that i bought (which is 3600MHZ). can anyone help me on this as i've ran out of options by now.

Here are my full pc specs for your reference:

Sometimes RAM just won't run at the rated speed, but you could get close to it, try one step lower from 3600.

If still no good, then another step lower. Repeat.

You probably want to RMA if the ram can't reach it's XMP speed

Do you use the latest available motherboard Bios?

Newer Bioses improve stuff, often "memory compatibility" comes on the list too.

From experience with AMD processors, you won't get a noticeable performance increase from 3200MHz to 3600MHz. But since you paid for the whole 3600MHz, you can also RMA the RAM and get new sticks that perform as expected.

If RMA is not an option, you can manually tweak some parameters and make the RAM go faster than 3200MHz. Take note of the parameters for the XMP3600MHz and 3200MHz (voltage, timings, etc.) and try settings them in-between the two values. If stable, try increasing the values towards the 3600MHz values until your system becomes unstable or won't boot anymore. Then reset the CMOS and set the parameters to their last stable value.

not sure about AMD platforms, but I had to overclock memory controller and give it a little more voltage for it to be stable at higher memory speeds. It wouldn't boot with xmp out of the box as well.

Try going down that route, see if it helps
