H100 Compatibility Thread

Helltech

I plan on making a thread listing the best cases, along with prices, that have compatibility for H100, as that seems to be the most asked question on these forums. Anyone wants to help out and start, that would be great. Please tell me where and how it fits in the case, rear, top, bottom, front, push/pull, push or pull, etc.

We are only going to bother with decent cases that are actually good.

Should probably make your own topic or just do a search.

But the 750D is a solid case, aswell as the NZXT 810 Switch, Fractal Define R4 and Enthoo Primo. All have somewhat similar price points with different features.

So I am guessing the Antec GX700 is too low budget?

GX700 ~50-60 but as low as ~$20 after MIR

Fits the h100 easily. Unfortunately you are left with 2x140mm fans that have no other mounts for 140mm.

The Corsair 450D will fit an H100 in Push-Pull on the top.

EDIT: No it does not, without very slim fans. Front works if you remove the drive cages.

FORMERLY FANBOY OF: A-Data, Corsair, Nvidia

Scout 2 does fit an H100i. Did it myself after seeing Linus do it on the $1500 gaming build.

What is the push, pull, push/pull etc mean?

Push is a fan pushing through the radiator, pull is a fan pulling air through the radiator, and push pull is a fan on one side pushing and a fan on the other side pulling..

Hello guys,

I installed the H100i in Push/Pull configuration on top of the case. Placing 3 fans on top (over the ceiling of the case) > Radiator > 2 fans under radiator. But...I stumble into a problem...the 8 pin connector for the CPU Power was being blocked by the fan under the radiator. So I had to take it of...I wonder if there is a way to get a 8 pin connector that is L shaped of some sort...the radiator and temperatures are just fine, with 2 fans on pull and 1 on push...but eaither way I wanted to complete the build by placing the fan that goes there.

Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

Here are the pictures.

I wonder if there's a lower profile 8 pin connector that I can buy in order to get the little space I need to place that fan...

It's not a big deal, but I just wanted to share this with the community. If anyone is planning on getting the same build, be aware of this !

I assume the H100 and H110 are similar in thickness... so:

Corsair 330R Quiet (Non windowed mid-tower) will NOT fit a H110 rad with fans on the roof without either blocking the top two optical bays with the hoses... if you spin it around, you get your optical drives back, but you need to remove the rear exhause fan or hoses won't clear.

I always guarantee that no more than 50% of what I say is useful.

I'd opt for a thinner fan, or, if it is close enough to my z87x oc mobo, install the fan, and if you put the 8 pin connector jumping across your gpus (I know! I cringed too) it puts a little pressure on the fan once plugged in but it fits.

If not, you could try getting an eps12v extension, cut the plastic away that rises above the motherboard, leaving just the bottom half of the connecter, individually sleeve each wire, and shrink wrap the wires to the connector... then you should have a makeshift 90 degree sata-like connector. This was my first thought when I did my build, but since I don't have a windowed case I figured ugly cables going over my GPUs could be my little secret. I've also got a PCIe power port right in the middle of the board  for SLI cards anyways. Thanks Gigabyte!

I always guarantee that no more than 50% of what I say is useful.

Little detail: you can't fit a h100 in an antec 1200 v3 without drilling some holes, the 2 fans at the back have a small gap between them.

I have a H100i in my antec 1200 and i had to drill 4 holes so the rear fans are now against each other, and push-pull is possible.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

H100 fits in the Zalman Z11 for pull, can be fitted for push-pull but you need to remove the slats from the top of the case so that the pushing fans don't interfere with the motherboard, and it can look a little uglier without those

550D is mobo dependant either way. I just had to return my 550D because the H100i couldn't fit due to the height of the motherboard heatsinks. Motherboard is Asus z97 deluxe.
