What is the difference between lazer mouses (Razer ones) or a optical mouse. Is it the DPI?

Laser is led focused point and optical is a wide point.  You will tend to get more of a smooth go from the laser mouse.  The optical sometimes tends to not know where it wants to read from.  If you had a choice I would go laser.  Just make sure you have a nice surface or mousepad for it.

I don't like Razer mouses either I was using them as an example for laser mice. My mistake.  ;)
