Recently bought a rtx 4070ti but I can't seem to find my spare PCIe cables anywhere (Only have a fixed one and a Y 6+2 cable) My psu is a Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000W that I've had for around 10 years or so without any issues. Any way to get compatible cables or should I just replace the psu?

You can try finding the cables, but honestly I would just get a new PSU. Also it doesn't need to be 1000W. 750W is fine.

Definitely replace it. it's an old unit that can't handle the dynamic load and power spikes of recent hardware.

True, somehow missed the 10 yo part lol
