Lexar is once again having a massive sale of their NS100 drives, starting at $10.50 for 128GB (50% off) and $15.00 for 256GB (67% off). 
I have four of these 128GB drives now from their previous sales, they are faster and more reliable than a drive you'd typically find for $10 or so. I use them as boot drives for old laptops; even Vista benefits from faster storage. I would definitely recommend them since they are solid drives at the price point.

I find it amusing (in a positive way, not in a wry way) that the 512GB 2.5" SSDs I bought ~3 months ago for ~30$ are now to the point where they are practically useless for game storage, and the 1TB drives are in the ~30$ range and are now the "minimum consideration size" for SS storage.

Now if I can just find some reliable 4TB spinner drives that are affordable...

I bought a 500gb Lexar ssd on prime day for 17$, now that was a steal, should have bought more than 1. It's 22$ now
