Hi everyone, I'm not a native English speaker so I'm sorry if I make some grammar mistakes while writing this post.
So I have a dell inspiron gaming model 15 7000, this baby has seen better days but unfortunately, during the last year, I've noticed some lag spikes while gaming low demanding titles, such as LoL and Valorant. I didn't make any changes to my system cause it didn't affect too much of my gaming experience. But during the last 3 months, the lag spikes went from 150fps to 1-10fps. I used CPUID HWMonitor to track my CPU and GPU performance and I ended up with these results:

you found the problem, but you're too busy looking at the wrong thing.

your CPU is running hot, so in peak load it <either cant boost as much or actually throttles>. and that's what causes the voltage to drop (because it's slowing down to protect itself).

get one of those cans of computer duster, and blow into every vent hole of the computer, going around a few times to make sure that anything that can come loose will come loose.

Oh, sorry, that 97C° temperature value is not from the gaming test, it's from a Cinebench test. I'll already clean up the whole thing two days ago. I also include some new thermal paste.
