Touch Screen Retro Fit

I was like wondering if you could retro fit computers with touchscreens, I mean its a exirement and see what happens, I have a lenovo legion 5 17 inch, I bet its possible but im wondering if anyone has any theories or has tried this before.

You cant since there is no data path for the touch screen in the screen ribbon connector.

 

A legion 5 doesn't have ANY mod for this where you hack it together by doin some usb soldering and stuff.

 

They existed for VERY LIMITED DEVICES. Hasnt been a thing for a decade+
