FIXED: I had missed an extra 4 pin power supply near the processor...

Is your old build 2011. I hate to suggest that the Motherboard might be faultily because without another board to test the CPU or another CPU to test in the new board it is very hard to find out which one is faulty.

 

also take off the best answer tag or new people wont join the thread to try and help.

If you have all ready tried using your old power supply, i would suggest Taking the CPU out and check too see if :

1 it could of been seated poorly

2 if there was any damage to the pins on the motherboard

3 there could be contaminates on the CPU contacts. 

 

Are your front panel connectors plugged in properly? If not, they could be causing a short.

 

His motherboard has a power button on it and I don't think he is using the front connectors;Either way it would not be a bad idea to unplug all of them while you test if there are any still connected.

We are going to need more information to know what your referring too. (If your talking about your phone: no if you meant to link a picture: it didn't go through.)

The pic was to big, I found a uhm paper on the back with the Mb name on it.
