Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 4: Broken lid sensor?

I've been using Linux Mint on my Thinkpad for a few days now, but it doesn't seem to shut off when I close the lid. To my knowledge, the power settings are applied correctly:

But even when I shut the laptop, I know it's still running as it gets hot in my bag and the battery drops, and when I open it it is on the lock screen. Should I look into the lid sensor?

Does it work on Windows? Probably more that linux somehow can't read it.

I previously had a dual boot of Windows/Ubuntu, and GRUB didn't read it and would keep my screen on endlessly, but I think it worked on Windows.
