I'm not quite sure if this is the place to ask for support on this matter, but everyone here seems nice and I've always had luck. I am currently running two paper Minecraft servers, one on 1.19.3 and one on 1.20.1. The older version runs amazingly on only 4 GB of ram, but the newer one will randomly disconnect people, and in the console, it says they logged in elsewhere. I even gave it more ram, 8 GB, but nothing. None of our accounts have been hacked, as we have changed our passwords, and the issue is nonexistent on the older version. My internet and my friends' internet is fine, I get about 300-400 Mbps, so that's not the issue. I've read that it happens when the server attempts to log someone in twice simultaneously, but I'm not sure and don't know how to fix it. Everything is up to date too, and I have optimized settings in every yml file or whatever they are called. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If needed for support lmao

Latest version hosting have ALWAYS been a pain on the netcode, this is exactly why me and my friends always host 5 to 8 versions behind latest. If you need access to every latest update in an online server id consider Realms, but yeah that 8$ a month adds up fast especially considering that you can get so much more slots and freedom off third party hosting site. Otherwise, stick to older version until Paper gets around 5 or more updates related to the version youre playing.

Go figure, these constant micro updates from microsoft/mojang annoy the piss outta me, i found something that did somewhat help tho, the Chunky plugin helped preload some chunks and the rubberbanding was lessened, as well as the random disconnects. Sorry for the late response lmao

My brother used to host a Minecraft server and when new updates came out, he quickly realized that upgrading versions just wasn't worth the hassle.
