Budget (including currency): £850

Country: United Kingdom

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1080p 120Hz (in fps games) at High-Max settings. Games such as spiderman remastered, Elden ring, apex legends, Heavily Modded Minecraft

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/j8zKFg

Would like it to last a few years at least, i appreciate the 8gb of Vram in 2023 is a bit of an issue but its cheaper than the rx 6700xt by a decent bit used. Was also wondering if it can run a modded minecraft server as well as play it at the same time? doesnt need to but would be helpful if it did. If i really need to spend a bit more i am getting paid soon but i want that to go mainly to desk and peripherals so if you do want to make adjustments that go over then i can do that just not by a massive amount. Thanks in advance!

If you really bought a GPU, then you should really try to improve your cpu. and change other components that's really not essential. But at least get a cpu with igpu, it would make troubleshooting much easier, when you have to.

But if you haven't bought the gpu, then a 6700xt is still a better option at the same budget.

Edit: I actually thought that your budget is only at around 800. Since it's 850, you can even lower the motherboard, as there are already reviews wherein 5800x3d works just fine with almost any mobo. But you might need a better cooler though.
