Which laptop is better?

Hi, i want to buy a laptop for work that would be used for web browsing, word work, movies etc..

I found these 2 laptops for good price but which one i better?

 

1. X1 Carbon Gen 6- i5-8350U, 8gb ddr3, SSD 512,

2. Dell Latitude 7390- i5-8350U, 8gb ddr4, 256GB SSD

 

I like the look and weight of the X1 carbon but soldered ram and ddr3 is steering me away from it.

Go for the Dell, SSDs are cheap these days.

Its fast DDR3 (2133MT/s) vs slow DDR4, the performance is going to be very close 

 

The Lenovo is there top end product and the better option, that said they are both getting pretty old by now
