Save and upgrade the whole thing. Can keep the RX6600, but you're sapping performance without PCIe 4.0, which you'd need a new CPU and motherboard to support. You can get a really good budget system with either the i3-13100 or i5-13400 and salvage your memory or replace it with AM5.

I don't think it makes a whole lot of sense to buy a new AM4 motherboard in your case. At this point, keep saving and watch the tech news for second-gen AM5 or 14th gen Intel. If you need something to tide you over until then, update your BIOS and get a relatively inexpensive third gen Ryzen.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

Your new motherboard does not list your current cpu as one that it is compatible with. PCIe 4.0 is only going to provide a benefit in storage speed if you have a PCIe 4.0 NVME drive which is not worth it in my opinion. However the 5600 will provide substantially better gaming performance over the 4500. In my opinion you should wait and save.

B550 does not support Zen 1st generation and Zen+ so the 1600 won't work in it.

But a 5600, 5700x or the upcoming 5600X3D would all work even in the B350.

Don't get the 4500, sell the 1600 and the b350 as a combo and get a 5600 or 5700X.
