Is my pc underperforming?

Blqckqut

Hey guys, i saw this video comparing the drivers

what i found interesting is that i have better specs but way less fps!

i have a 6750xt with 5800x3d and have 380-500 fps on rocket league, and 190fps on rainbow six siege, what could be the issue?

drivers are 23.5.2

chipset drivers fully updated

bios fully updated

windows fully updated

cpu and gpu are stable tuned (2850mhz core 2312memory, -30 all cores on cpu)

power draw on 6750xt is 242 watt

power draw on 5800x3d is 78 watt

usage on 6750xt is 98-99%

usage on 5800x3d is 23%

both arent thermal throttling (68°C on gpu, 78°C 5800x3d with 360 rad)

waht can i do to solve this?

Exact same setting as the video? All on low?

Also they use recorded match for Rocket League and built in benchmark for R6S

From a quick look at R6S, they have the quality set all to low and rocket league have a lot of settings switched off. Have you tried to match what they have set?

Try DDU and reinstall drivers.

rocket league most is high performance except for render wich is highest (so it doesnt look like minecraft) and im also running amd sharpening in adrenaline

and for r6 the fps goes up to 280 when on low settings, but i mostly play on ultra so its 180

I'm not entirely sure what else it could be, nothing else stands out from the setup in your signature. I assume you have DOCP on, smart access memory on and the like. PBO wouldn't be active since you've got a manual clock set, maybe try that? It's worth a shot.

If it were me, and I couldn't find anything from poking around - I'd probably just set a day and completely reformat Windows. Clearly something is broke.

Na, I believe you. I'm just not sure where else to look specifically. You're ticking all the right boxes but it's just not happening.

A problem like this can be one of a trillion different things. Reinstalling Windows is a good way to clear a few billion of those solutions at once. Think of it as one giant DDU of everything.

problem is i have a shit ton of benchmarking stuff and important files i dont wanna reinstall (especialy games since my internet is 10mbps and i have over 2tb of games)

i could do a reinstall but not wipe the drive, i simply cant reinstall everything since it would take way too much time

maybe its cuw im in 1440p but still doesnt make sense why id only have sub 500 fps on almost same settigns as 6600xt

That'll do it.

1080p -> 1440p is a massive drop in performance even with the different cards, it's nearly twice the pixel count. You do need to match for a fair comparison. Try setting your games to 1080p and seeing if that makes up the numbers.

sure ill try that, so i should get about 850 fps in rocket league on 1080 p right? since the 6600xt is almost 800

another problem is its quite inconsisten, one moment its 380 fps, next moment is 440, then 480, then 390, then 513 etc

Something like that. I don't have a Radeon card so I couldn't tell you, but I'm sure there's videos on youtube with your specs and expected performance.

Different scenes will do that. Sometimes there's just more/difficult stuff on the screen to render.

I'd be happy with that. 1440p is a pretty big jump in performance requirements over 1080p. Your CPU usage should have been quite a bit higher too.

Maybe try running 3dmark time spy (click download demo on the right). See how you match up vs other builds like yours?

I mean, you're on the later half of the bell curve. I'd be fine with it myself.

Also, thanks for the reminder to finally turn on PBO2, lol.
