yep.

Every computer on earth regardless of time period , cost , or speed has a bottleneck. A bottleneck being the thing that is the slowest step of a process which limits the speed of the process.

Hey, so I understand your question. It really depends on the resolution you will game at. If you are planning to game at 1440p or higher, then no major bottlenecks that would concern you. If you do plan to game at 1080p or lower then I would suggest even a 6700xt.

In simpler terms,

At 1080p? Yes.

At 4K? No.

At 1440p? Maybe

CPU : I7-6700k 4.6ghz GPU : MSI GTX 1080

That's not how you ask for a new build. Specify on budget, games you wanna play, resolution, country you are shopping in and so on.

Actually, I've gotten my 5600G to a 5600X's speed with a little overclocking (4.2GHz to 4.7GHz). You are right, the combo isn't great, but the 5600G isn't trash due to the decent CPU performance and very good GPU performance (not to mention $130 price).
