Dual Boot OS with multiple SSDs

bipin.kumar

I have two SSDs, one each for Windows 11 and Ubuntu, installed separately. When I insert both of them together, it only opens Ubuntu directly. How do I get an option to choose the operating system when I start my system?

If you installed them separately, just use the BIOS to switch between them.

The option you mean comes from Grub. If you install Ubuntu while Windows is already installed, it should add a boot option automatically. Otherwise, you can set it up manually like this: https://askubuntu.com/a/198875
