Wifi adapter not detected

shabababa169
Go to solution Solved by shabababa169,

Turns out i've just been trying to install the wrong wifi driver... my motherboard is Prime B550m-A WiFi II, not Prime B550m-A WiFi.

So it uses mediatek wifi card, instead of the intel one in the regular wifi model

Always ensure that you're downloading the correct drivers i guess

That looks like the actual WIFI chip is screwed, is it a WiFI board or are you running a adapter?

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

yeah then seems like the chip for BT and WiFi is toast, talk to the ASUS guys but they have some issues with the RMA process, Check @Genzong for their experience with it.
