My computer is ignoring my dedicated GPU

Saunamaster

Parts:

ryzen 7600

radeon 6650 xt

asus prime b650 mb

I plugged in the displayport to my 6650 xt. When I start up the computer, the fans on the gpu spin for a little bit and then stop. When I look at task manager it’s not even saying its there. It might be a driver related issue but i’m at a loss.

I didn’t even know it could use the cpu’s integrated gpu if I have the display cable on the dedicated one.

well the gpu being listed in task manager isn't what dictates if the gpu is working

did you install a driver?

ok did you want to provide any more insight like if the hardware is listed in the device manager or if the gpu software installed and settings are accessible or anything at all that would help us help you?
