First PC Build AMD (replacing mid 2012 macbook pro retina)

Finally building my first custom PC to use for my design software and some gaming. (after watching alot of LTT videos)

This will be replacing my old mid 2012 macbook pro retina.

I highly recommend this Meshify 2 Mini case, it was super easy to build in!

Nice looking build! I love working in Fractal Design cases.

 

The white/black contrasts with RGB highlights is a really good look, nicely done.

Good fan choice. Btw, is the tower fan mounting compatible with other fans? Just a simple clip that fits into the holes in the corners? I wanna get that cooler but swap out the fan for a build I'm planning. Would be great help to clarify.

Yeah these fans are amazingly quiet! Yes, the clip that holds the fan to the tower would work with any other standard 120mm pc fan, it just hooks into the holes in the corners.

Slight update to my build, I ended up replacing the XFX 6650XT with a XFX 6700 non XT. I was having coil wine issues with the 6650 XT and the 6700 was on sale for $269 on amazon,  less than I paid for the 6650 XT so I figured it was worth a shot (easy to return the old GPU on amazon). The 6700 has almost no coil whine, was well worth the upgrade and cost savings. The new 6700 just fits in the case and be quiet fans, there's like 3/32'' to spare 😂
