IDK what to buy. I wanna pair the GPU with a 5800x3d and I think I will go with the 6700xt but is the performance difference huge at 1080p with the 5800x3d?

Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

no, its an overclock away to get a 6700 xt on a 6750 xt level. Don't pay more for the 6750 xt, there won't be a noticeable difference

There is some difference in 1080p, but depending on the price at where you buy it's arguable if it's worth it or not. Here the 6750XT is just €10 above the 6700XT, so it's a no-brainer, but are your location it may be different.

If you can find a 6750XT sale for $30 or less than a 6700XT, then its worth it in my opinion. I've seen RX 6750 XT's go on sale for $310 new sold and shipped by Newegg, so waiting for a sale might be worth it.

Pics or it didn't happen.

Also there is barely any difference, in the video in some games performance was same but the max difference was like 12 fps. But both cards were getting over 100 fps when there were big gaps. That 10 fps is not gonna make a difference and it's not worth spending an extra 50 AUD on too me.

I have 2 sys, 12400+ 6700xt, 5600+6800, both 1080p

In most games gpu usage / clocks arent maxed, and benchmark results are very similar

6800 was a deal in gumtree for 520 aud

Don't get the AIO for the CPU, get the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE. Not of course at the insane price of $150, but for $55.

Also why the hell that Wi-Fi? You wanna have worse gaming experience?

The GPU you've chosen is $569 get rid of the AIO, save $44 there, save another $29 by not buying that wifi card and get https://www.msy.com.au/product/gigabyte-radeon-rx-6750-xt-gaming-oc-12g-graphics-card-62979

or if you miss the deal

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/pRt9TW/asus-radeon-rx-6750-xt-12-gb-dual-oc-video-card-dual-rx6750xt-o12g for just $10 more than that 6700XT.

Also the mobo - a VARY good alternative especially at the $99 price is the https://www.msy.com.au/product/asrock-b550m-steel-legend-am4-matx-motherboard-56149. You just have to find it in stock for that price.

Ok, but why? Why ATX board and why Wifi ??? mATX is more than enough for a regular gaming rig and wifi SUCKS HARD for gaming. No professional e-sports player EVER uses wifi to play. It's always the cable that's the default choice. Aside from 1 more x1 PCIe slot and 2 more fan headers there isn't anything that one may want in ATX vs mATX. But the Steel Legend has 2.5Gbps network instead of just 1Gbps on the MSI. It also has better power delivery and you really want that with a CPU like the 5800X3D.

Also the AIO is just 240mm and not a good tier 240mm. The 5800X3D is a hot CPU and needs either a 280mm or 360mm and even then it still runs hot (talking from experience here). The Peerless Assassin runs just 2.5°C higher than the Liquid Freezer II 280mm which is MUCH better cooler than that Deepcool AIO. Not only it destroys everything in performance per dollar, but it also beats most mid-range 280mm AIOs on noise AND temperature including the Deepcool Assassin III 280mm AIO. Something most people don't realize about water cooling is that the heat transfer that happens is much slower than the regular air cooling. The more water you have the better, so that means 360mm or even 420mm rads for best cooling performance. If the Peerless Assassin was on the market when i got my AIO, i'd never have gone water cooled.

As for the used market - i always encourage this with GPUs, not so much with the mobos though. I myself run a 2nd hand RX 6900XT which cost just $500 with 18 months of remaining warranty, but you have to be careful with your choice, cause a lot of scummy deals going on online. For that budget it should be easy to find even an RX 6800XT, but you will also need at least 850W PSU for it.

Ok, thanks man. I will make changes. Also the peerless assasin is priced at 120? Will a deepcool AK500 be able to manage this load? Yeah I am also looking at used 6700xt which I can find for about 450-500. I will go the MATX route then, also I don't have an ethernet cable port thing at my desk so wifi is my only option.

does this look ok?

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)

Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

I love Photography (Using a Canon 60D)

Depends on what kind of games

As for 6700xt at 1080p, most single player games run over 110fps ultra settings

In most games the 5800x3d gets over 20-30 fps more at 1080p. Thats a big difference, also if I can fit it in the budget. Why not.

The CPU is more than worth the difference to 5600X. I made the jump and never for a single second have i regretted the decision. It's worth EVERY.SINGLE.CENT. Even for 1080p. But looking at the cooler prices in AU - dafyq is going on there ?!?!?!? $88 AUD for AK500 ?!?!?

At least here i found it at somewhat descent price, even though it is still a bit high

Honestly, idk what you are guys doing over there with these prices. Over here in Europe i already purchased 5 of those for less than €55 each with VAT and shipping.

Many people are afraid of the name Thermalright, because they never heard it before and think it's just some new startup company who has no idea what its doing, but it's the exact opposite. They were in the cooling market for quite some time and had some extremely good solutions more than a decade ago with all-copper heatsinks. They are one of the best names when it comes to air cooling.

| 4x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4000MHz CL16 | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT | Seasonic Focus GX-1000|

| 512GB A-Data XPG Spectrix S40G RGB | 2TB A-Data SX8200 Pro| Phanteks Eclipse G500A |
