Any fast IPS for 2024 on the 24-25" range?

Should I wait for something better than what's out there?

Current monitor is VG2401. I want to try IPS for better colors, however I would be dissapointed if it's a downgrade for playing Quake.

I feel like there are fast IPS's out there in the 24-25'' range.  A bit more information would be very helpful, what exactly is wrong with whats on the market now?

Well basically the blur issue with IPSs, and i've read some people complain about headaches somehow, due how the panels work compared to TNs.

I got no complains on my xb271hu and I notice imperfections very well. Gsync is nice.

Are you going by what you're reading or have you experienced it at all yourself?

 

I like to try things myself before I believe everything on the internet.   Those with issues are more vocal than the masses that are enjoying their gear without.

Not but I generally trust quake players and also on the blurbusted forum they go pretty hardcore on this stuff.

Not sure the repentance here, but you do understand that distance to screen makes size a non issue?

 

A 24 on your desk is just fine.

Really anything current is good and some upcoming faster ones. Also in year or more even faster Hz OLED will show.

It's all subjective. People like what they like. There is no objectivity in this at all. Hats off, meaning you have good eyes. My eyes would struggle.

Asus PG259QN should already fit your criteria given my thoughts on your previous thread. Given already at 360Hz and fast response time provided from this review, I'm now not entirely sure what you're chasing. If it's even better response time you're after, you probably supposed to change overdrive setting higher (but not too high else it creates inverse ghosting).
