It should be fine.

Hi all, I recently ordered a r9 3900 and want to upgrade the heatsink, I currently have a 226 xt. In a quick search through the stores in my country, I didn't find anything that really catches my eye to make it a true upgrade. I am looking for recommendations of heatsinks either by water or air. Attached are some links to stores. I will appreciate your valuable recommendations. Best regards.

Clarification: I am clearly not looking for something top of the line or anything like that, just something better than the 226xt, since my current 3600 comes in the tests at 80 degrees. My budget is 40,000 Argentine pesos.

Why? Just get a 5900x or buy a used 3900

226xt is just fine just add a rear fan onto it

Hitting 80c in stress tests are nothing, that's a fine temp.  What are your gaming or regular load temps?

I have one intake and one exhaust on the 226xt and it's still not good enough. My case is an antec df700 which is an open case and I have 4 140mm fans intake (SW3) and two exhaust (SW3).

I bought the 3900 at a very good price in China, that's why I chose that model, the others were too expensive for my pocket. Thank you very much.

Or I can spend the money on two more powerful 120mm fans for the 226xt, although I think the factory ones are very good. I have one intake and one exhaust, the two fans are the same, that is like the one that comes factory with the heatsink.

Thank you very much, but, I think, it would not be a substantial upgrade or improvement. I think it is a bit inferior to the 226xt, without having tested it, I say this.
