Discovered missing insulator on CPU/GPU PSU cable after troubleshooting completely dead PC after installing new GPU
Hey all

The switch on the back of the PSU is turned on, the cable plugged in to the outlet?
When you try to turn the computer on what exactly happens?
Absolutely no signs of life? Does it start then turn off? Stuck repeatedly rebooting? Starts but no display on the monitor?
Damn, I think I just solved it...er, you solved it. You had told me to check the 24pin, so I did & it seemed pretty firm, but it did seat just a little bit more. Then I had to go to the store, make some calls, & just for shits & giggles when I came back, I hit the power button again & Tahduh! I guess I've wasted all my time & yours just because that 24pin wasn't fully seated. I thought from the start that I'd just giggled something loose, & I swear if felt like it was seated before!!! I checked it once already. Ah man, I feel bad, but I can't thank everyone that put in their info enough! Great community, I really appreciate you all. Sorry if I wasted anyone's time.
