DS4 controller errors out on windows

Its weird it didn't drop or anything it just suddenly gave me a windows usb device not recognized error and now the controller also blinks red if i try to reconnect. 

What i tried:

 

wired and wireless 

resetting the controller 

 

Any ideas if that's fixable?
