I have my PC connected to my home stereo. There has always been a low whining noise when I'm not listening to music or playing a game due to it being an old stereo with only a 3band EQ but now theres a static like noise even when I play music and games

There could be couple things. One is onboard audio but that would mase same with headset. More likely is loose or broken jack. Or there's something electric messing signal like wireless mouse or phone.

yeah when I use my head set or Monitor speakers there is no feedback only threw my home stereo but the static stopped. I'm gonna get inside the case and make sure there are no loose wires
