Hello everyone, I recently upgraded from an RX580 to an RX 6750XT. I have it paired with a Ryzen 5 3600 and I know that is a bottleneck, but I wanted to try it out before I upgraded my CPU. So far, I’m pretty unimpressed. While some games such as rainbow six siege are performing well with 250-350FPS on ultra settings, other games are not. Fortnite at the recommended settings which is almost all ultra, I’m only getting 50-60FPS, and in Microsoft Flight Simulator I left it on medium settings which was what I had it on for my old card, and I’m only getting around 50 fps which is only about 10-20 fps higher than my 580. Does anyone know if I had some driver issue or odd setting on? Or is this just the bottleneck because so far I’m very unimpressed with this upgrade.

well change it to decent settings. nobody runs everything at ultra and nobody recommends running at ultra.

did you ddu your old drivers or just pile the new drivers right on top of the old ones?

I imagine your game settings are holding you back; don't go for Ultra.

I'd also see if you can find reviews that use the 3600 to see if your results compare. The 3600 is aging at this point and won't net you the gains a newer processor will.

The thing is though, is that I'm seeing YouTube videos of my exact same cpu gpu combo and they're getting more than double my fps on the same ultra settings

youre using youtube videos as a benchmark? thats a sample size of 1 which is....... quite a poor thing to use as a benchmark.

did you use ddu

I’m looking at multiple videos and finding a trend of higher frame rates than my build

I don’t have anything overclocked right now, all I have is the XMP thing on in the bios

What speed is your RAM though.

How much higher are these other builds.
