Cooling questions

I wouldn't touch them.

And considering that they used liquid metal at some point you will need to delid and replace that liquid metal.

I would just buy a normal new or used chip and use a contact frame and cool it with a chiller.

wounldnt the IPC be a huge bottleneck tho

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

?????

Clock Speed x Instructions Per Clock = Instructions Per Second

This is the formula used to calculate performance scientifically.

What did you mean exactly with this question?

You could lap it and expose the copper if you want - After all the IHS is Nickel plated Copper.

Lapped 13900KS in a contact frame:

yeah maybe. I just really dont want to kill it by going too deep. I think so maybe tho

Seems like you confused die lapping with IHS lapping.

IHS lapping doesn't have that risk.

oh ok mb again im ok at OC'ing cooling is a different story thanks also I just ran cinebench no prep and with like 50 chrome tabs in the background and it hit like 25600 @ 5.5 GHZ didn't even hit 100C. Im scared thinking what I can do with the i9 and a chill and god knows what else this poor CPU will have to go through

I highly recommend you watch this video about the contact frame and lapping:
