Im wondering is the adata ultimate SU720 actually using SLC technology, because the reviews say it actually is, but for the price it seems suspicious, its not cheap by ssd means, its $82 for 500GB, but when searching SLC ssds i cant find any, so if anyone knows if its really SLC then pls let me know. here is the link to the site i found it on ADATA Ultimate SU720 500GB 2.5" SATA III

It uses a slc cache for speeding up writes. Basically every drive does this these days, so its not really a feature.

Its probably tlc nand. There are no(that I know of) slc ssds on the consumer market for sale. They just make almost no sense with how good tlc is these days.

Did you end up getting one and testing?

Nah I'm looking to buy a secondary drive for important files in the future, and since it doesn't rlly seems to be slc I didn't buy, but even if I did, how would I know if its slc?
