I need to buy a new pair of gaming headphones since my current ones just broke but when it comes to audio i have no idea what im doing. My budget is probably somewhere around £100 but i would be willing to go a bit over if it meant the audio quality was a lot better than other options.

If you have any recommendations which are high quality, have a little bit of rgb (not a requirement but ig it would be somewhat nice to have) with a good mic for a reasonable price please reply with a few links or names.

Thanks

@_Omega_ I actually just picked up a pair last week to replace the Logitech nightmare of a headset I had. The Logitech one had poor battery life, bunch of useless buttons you couldn't turn off, and kept having weird connection issues at the start of a session. I've had it for a while and just got sick of it, the slider on button would only enable one ear cup sometimes until I messed with it enough.

Audio quality isn't great, but my hearing is quite poor. Ear surgeries, lots of guns, and military service to contribute to that, but its gotten better over time.

HyperX Cloud II wireless specifically, they're extremely light and I haven't run into battery life issues at all. Two buttons (on and mic mute), no frills, just how I like it. The mic is removable and when muted, it has a red ring around the tip to indicate that its muted.

Only mod I've done to them is zip tying the wires to the support struts since they were touching my head and annoying me. I shave my head though so its possible you wouldn't feel them with a full head of hair. The wires don't show in photos I've seen online, but its the wires that come from the headband into each cup.
