iSwitched to Linux (Zorin OS)

Guest

But it's nice and fast on slower stuff. And you can make it look a lot like Windows.

I have to ask, why install some linux os when you are going to make it look like windows? why not just install windows??

Can I ask what AMD drivers are you using, the open source (mesa) driver stack or the closed source drivers provided by AMD themselves?

A. Windows might be slower.

B. I might like how it looks.

If you have a problem with that, bite my shiny electronic ass.

Can I ask why you chose Zorin instead of something with a larger community like Ubuntu or even Mint?

Tried Zorin OS Gaming Edition 64 bit on my gaming laptop, and it's too slow.

Also, when you install it, you HAVE to get in this stupid folding at home zorin edition AND THERE'S NO FUCKIN' WAY TO REMOVE IT!

Which is something I was very annoyed by.

Things I liked are: inclusion of Steam, Wine and Google Chrome.

That's pretty much it.

Fact.

Anyways, with long-term reliability Windows is much better.

I had many times when Linux just decided to break after the updates.

Hmm... Never heard of this OS before. Seems interesting though.

I've been thinking of maybe getting a cheap second-hand laptop somewhere to mess with different Linux distros. Wouldn't try it on my main rig nor the tablet, though.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.
