Can more fans at the top of the case decrease gpu temps?

Currently I have high junction temps on my gpu and if push hard, it can crash. Normally it is not a problem but I like overclocking. I have a Lian li Mesh case with 2 intake fans on the front, and 1 exhaust on the back of the case. Gpu temps decrease when I open the case window. So I wonder, if I put 2 or 3 fans at the top of the case or buy an AIO cpu cooler set at the top, can I lower my gpu temps? Gpu fans are looking downwards, so cooling the top of the gpu should be a god thing right? Any insights?

I mean as long as you have the fan set to blow cool air into the top of the GPU then exhaust out the bottom it logically should help with your temps.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

But since heat rises, wouldn't the opposite of what you suggest be better.  Put your intake fans at the bottom or front of the case so they can pull in fresh cool air and then put your exhaust fans at the top of the case so they can pull the hot air from the cpu/gpu and blow it out the top of the case.  Also leave the fan on the back of the case blowing out.

i've found that with front-to-back airflow it might help a tad to have a fan at 45° angle at the front of the GPU to just "motivate" more air towards and past the GPU.

past that.. IMO front in and top out is mostly a recipe for wasted potential, if you're not in the "front and top rad" sort of position.

Placement has different effects depending on the case, components and cooling. The best thing to do is put fans in different configurations and see what happens. If you don't have extra fans, get some cheap ones but keep in mind that for places with a significant barrier (mesh,  rad, layers) you'll need to buy fans with high static pressure.

for best gpu temps you want bottom intake and you need the back fan and posably the top back fan for exhaust. if you dont then the gpu exhaust hits the side and some gets re sucked back thow the gpu. some case can make a hot pocket at the bottom there.

the problem is the gpu exhausting its heat out the sides and hitting the side pannal and some back at the mb witch can have problem with some chipsset cooling.

since all case are tempered glass theres no side intake anymore. so a bottom intake case is best for gpus you can do.

as for cpu tower coolers front fans intake and some times the top front fan intake.

for aio front intake will make the gpu a bit hotter but cpu a bit cooler and top mount gpu cooler and cpu bit warmer. like 2-3c
