Hey guys,

New member here to the forums and I'm slightly terrified I just built my new pc wrong.

I just built a i9 13900k 4090 build with a iQUE H170 ELITE w/ display with a 420mm radiator and my armoury crate app i have on it says that my cpu and everything while gaming is only reaching about 40degrees. I'm terrified that i didn't hook something up correctly and I'm not getting the right readings. Is there something I should check on to see if I did it correctly?

download HWinfo/ HWmonitor or MSI Afterburner and see if the readings are the same.

Use HWInfo to read temps, it's usually the most reliable.

40c package temp wouldn't be completely unheard of though, especially if it's a lighter game, so it's probably correct.

Copy that.

I play CSGO, Apex Legends, Destiny 2, and haven't really tested it much further than that. I'll give the HWInfo

i reached 6.1Ghz all core during gaming such as BF2042 4k Ultra by disabling the ecores and hyperthreading to drop temps.  All of this on an AIO and not a cryocooler haha.  Have fun the 13900k is pretty robust.  But stock it's still pretty sweet.

Apex is a heavier CPU game than other games ive heard. So I was wanting to make sure 100%. Im happy with the temps but just wanted to make sure.

Ehh its not that bad. Its considered a heavier battle royal but cpu wise it runs easily on even a i7 4770.
