How can I get 165hz without a Display Port

my gpu doesnt have a display port so is there anyway i can get 165hz without dp wire

What gpu and what monitor. If its a nvida GPU make sure that you select PC resolutions (youll need to scroll down a bit)

Depends, what GPU do you have? What monitor? What resolution?

If it's got HDMI 2.0 then yes for 1080p

HDMI 1.4 might be okay at 8-bit color

What's your GPU ? if it doesn't have DP it certainly will have difficulty reaching 165Hz or FPS 🙂

You should technically be able to run at 165Hz with HDMI cable, but the card is very weak and won't reach 165FPS with anything less than 10 years old...

it runs valorant at 250 fps 

and minecraft at 190 fps

and my hz is only capped at 120 hz... my gpu doesnt have a dp port btw

Ok impressive, didn't think it was that fast 🙂

But you should be able to have 1080p165Hz over an HDMI cable if it is HDMI2

how will i know if my hdmi is a newer version?

No idea, but if the NVidia panel don't list 165Hz it should be an older version, get a new cable...

i dont see a 165hz option, so i will have to buy what kind of version?
