Cleaning out microb growth

Asking this question preemptively as I’m forced to drain my loop to do some troubleshooting. What is the best way to clean out microb growth in a loop if some starts growing after you drain it? Better yet how do I prevent it?

Let things dry out and thats about it.

You can flush with distilled water + waterloop biocide but you shouldnt have to do that

Ok, I already plan to use EK’s clean/super flush kit before refilling loop. So by sounds of it that will take care of anything that might grow while I’m waiting for it to get here

Just some distilled water is fine. I mean for the price of that kit you can buy a lifetime supply of biocide and anti corrosion for waterloop and a ton of mineral water 😛
