Cities Skylines 2 Grid arrangement

Senzelian

I think I figured it out. Cities Skylines 2 is suppsedly going to have 150 tiles, instead of the previous 9 tiles (or 81 with mods) in Cities Skylines 1.
We know this from one of the previously leaked achievements:

Now if you take 150 tiles and you try to devide it into a rectangular shape, you will notice it won't line up, as you can see:

(I mean there's no square root of 150, duh...)

So either they had to come up with a shape that doesn't offer the same length on all sides or they did this, which took me a while to figure out:

So what do you guys think? Would that make sense? Would you be happy with such a grid array?

Edit: Also look at the logo...

Going to Hexes/triangles would surprise me, as a grid is the style a lot of people want to go for, and expect to be able to do in a City builder.

But your maths seems to work out... a very very bold move if true.

Welcome to traffic jam city, according to Skylines traffic logic.

Could also be a rectangle instead of a square (10 x 15 tiles)

Could be, but highly unlikely imo.

From logo, I would have guessed going with hexagon tiles instead. I don't think they will change the base logic of building in/with squares.

Yeah using triangles as tiles seems very odd. Hexagons would make a lot more sense.
