So im bored. this is what imma do:

1. get this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUDIA-Silver-Aluminum-Briefcase-Business-Locking-Brief-case-Organizer-Metal-/191158575565

2. Cut out IO port slot/and cpu air shroud intake (also a 80mm mount for a exaust)

3. cut gpu io port, and install

4. Mount PSU and HDD/SSD (im thinking a SSD might be a better choice for this scenario)

5. Mount/install ram, CPU, connect power.

6. make mount for one of those tablet like looking monitors that NCIX reviewed on the side of the briefcase.

7. Game.

Im doing this because i am done with laptops, and i want something that i can carry with a handle and be a bit more rugged. U guys have any thoughts or suggestions? I am going to be using a mATX board (itx stuff is expensive) with a wifi card. I need a cold cpu, so maybe some of the low end FX stuff, or a i3?

I've seen "laptop" conversions of game consoles with the same concept, those came out pretty cool actually.

Those were console conversions, for a PC, you're going to want to make sure you have proper ventilation and that the hardware itself sipping little power to produce the least of mount of heat. Maybe something like a low profile cpu cooler, a CPU under 100w TDP, a slim GTX 750 ti since 60w and definitely use SSDs for heat reasons as well.

im going apu+crappy gpu, im not a hardcore gamer. mostly minecraft, which would run just fine off the apu anyways.

I think you'd be better off going Athlon 760k + GTX 750 Ti Otherwise, I dunno. The suitcase idea is neat, but if it's going to be an APU only...you'd be better off with that one Lian Li case or an APU based laptop.
