Zen 4 low end cpu

Any idea about Zen 4 entry level? It feels like none care about it. Please let me know if you do know something

It'll be a while before they're out, just how it always goes. The low end Ryzen SKUs in order to be profitable at all have to be monolithic (the chiplet design has a fixed cost associated with it that makes low end CPUs not viable), so it'll require a complete redesign in order to do it. My guess is they'll release it with the APUs whenever they come out. Given that AM5 board pricing is still through the roof though ($120 boards became available a week ago, and you can count on one hand the number of boards available for less than $200) releasing a sub-$200 CPU is not likely too soon on the road map, plus given AMD's release history there's no guarantee that the low end chips will even be available to the DIY community (The 4650G, 4750G, and 5300G never made it to retail outside of OEM systems, and it took a year for AMD to release the 5600G and 5700G to the public as well).

It will be interesting to see what a 7600G or something along those lines would look like, especially because the monolithic dies tend to do really high FCLK so those chips might be better gaming chips than their chiplet cousins if AMD doesn't nerf the cache like they did with 5600G/5700G, but I wouldn't be holding my breath for it and we won't know anything until they announce it.

All AM5 CPU-s have a GPU, having a "G" makes no sense.

As for the "lower end" AM5, I don't think that will be a thing. 6-cores is pretty much the new low end.

Or just get an AM4 chip, they're quite cheap

I can see it making some sense. Their current iGPUs present on Ryzen 7000 are for basic display purposes only, they have no horsepower to them at all and as a result they do still call them CPUs rather than APUs like they've called every other CPU of theirs that had integrated graphics. If you want to use it for gaming, you're actually better off with the iGPU on the 5600G. The new -G lineup would likely be just for the CPUs that have an iGPU that's capable of more than just basic display out and more basic gaming instead.

Whether it makes sense for them to resurrect the APU lineup is more up for debate, these chips would have to be put in office systems that likely won't ever run any game more GPU intensive than Minesweeper, but they still likely will bring back the monolithic dies to help lower costs for prebuilts and if they're gonna have to redesign it anyway to fit one of those, they might as well throw a better iGPU in it in case someone does want to use it for Minecraft or League of Legends.
