What is your current graphics card. It might not be that beneficial as the CPU could bottle neck the system.

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

then keep it intill it dies. no point upgrading for the hell of it. upgrade when it dies or you are not getting the fps you want

Hm ok, but what would be the right upgrade path if I dont have 2k - 3k for a full upgrade?

Honestly, the RX 6800 or 6800 XT would be sufficent for your purposes compared to somehting like a 3080. not worth even considering 3060 image.png.20f223ff967e9c290c7b9ab88572039c.png

you dont need an aio for anything but i9 cpus or heavy oc jobs just get an nh-d15 or peerless assassin

MARK THE SOLUTION AS SOLUTION

i am 14 so i may be wrong sometimes

would not get anything better that a 6600xt or 6700xt to avoid a cpu bottlneck. you could also get a 5800x and new mobo for probbably 400 ish so no need for a 2-3k upgrade

So in a nutshell its not worth upgrading only the gpu. Its worth going for the full upgrade that has more upgradability in the future.

no i think it will not even go in a computer that new. the nvidia geforce 3 series is from 2001 and was agp. it is far too slow as well

This also depends on the games and settings you play at. I wouldn't worry personally about getting a fast gpu like a 3080 here. It will give you a big boost in performance and when you up grade your cpu later on you will get the most from it.

Better change the 7700k with something modern and keep the 1080 by using FSR.
