I have a question. How to people use different PC's to stream stuff they are doing on another PC? Also how do duel pc systems work together?

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

I love Photography (Using a Canon 60D)

Love F1, my favourite team is Ferrari and my favourite driver is Leclerc

For game streaming specifically; The primary PC is the PC that the game is being played on. The second PC has a capture card that takes the display signal from the first PC captures the display output and processes the stream and handles the encoding. Using a 2nd PC is so that the first PC isn't slowed down by the stream encoding and allows them to use higher quality encoding settings.

For most people a single PC and using NVENC GPU encoding is fine without slowing down the system much, and with faster and high core count CPUs even CPU encoding is manageable on a single PC these days with very fast encoding settings without a significant performance impact.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

So how does the capture card get what the other pc is outputting?

You plug the HDMI cable from the first PC in to the capture card and it captures the display output.

ok, and then do you connect a HDMI cable to a second PC and a monitor?

It sits in between the gaming pc and the screen.

capture cards have hdmi in from gaming pc and hdmi out to screen of gaming pc.

the streaming pc has the capture card which shows up the same way a webcam does as a video input.

your run OBS on the streaming pc and then add the captured video source and that does the streaming.

capture cards are real-time video so live action is passed through with only a few milliseconds delay.

ok thanks.
