Budget (including currency): £1000-£1500.

Country: United Kingdom.

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Will be used for playing a variety of games (Sims 4, Beat Saber, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Elden Ring etc), will be used for uni work (nursing so nothing intensive), VR obviously and general day to day stuff - YouTube etc.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I currently have an Intel i7-8700k which I could sell, I have an Nvidia 1070 TI (unsure of brand, it was a pre built system), 16GB DDR4 RAM (again unsure of speed but would like to upgrade this anyway), I have 2 1080p monitors and only really play at 1080p but i'd like to potentially try 1440p, looking to buy in the next 1-3 months. I also would like an NZXT H5 Elite case, Also I don't mind either AMD or Intel but would prefer an Nvidia GPU.

Any help would be very appreciated! Thank you!

Hello, I have made you s list and I think I did really well planning each part. I know you said that you wanted the NZXT H5 Elite Case but I switched it to the NZXT H5 Flow case to allow more airflow which is very important so that you don't overheat and fry your PC. You also said that you wanted to try 1440p gaming so I added a new 1440p gaming Monitor that is 27" & 165hz refresh rate, an excellent monitor for only $100 more that your budget allows. Without the monitor the new PC is $100 under you budget. I also included a fan kit to maximize the airflow in the case and if you don't like the RGB lighting then you can turn it off with the included remote and the fans will still spin but not light up.

If you have any questions please let me know, I have 30 years experience building PCs.

The case has one of the poorest airflow on its price point on the market, even with the flow panel upgrade that they had. If you want a design copycat with better airflow design, may i suggest you Pop Air by Fractal Design?

You could get this with a 5600 and a 3080. Should be great for gaming. Good ram 32gb 3600Mhz CL16. Total comes to around 1400.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

I love Photography (Using a Canon 60D)

Love F1, my favourite team is Ferrari and my favourite driver is Leclerc
