Pc dies when I move my mouse in a game

When I open a game (lost ark) and I hold down the left button and move my mouse around I drop to 1 fps. Same for an emulator with mobile games. Nothing intense is going on, just moving my mouse around while pressing down left button. Makes games unplayable.

 

 

 

Is this a new amd feature? I'm on 23.3.1, this was an install after doing DDU in safe mode. Other than that I didn't do anything.

 

I'll try updating to 23.3.2.

 

What else would be recommended to fix this? Reinstall other drivers as well?

It may be a driver issue i dont have any issues with my rx7900xtx
you could update, or revert to a driver which you know is working

One possible reason for this is that your mouse software and drivers may be outdated or corrupted . You can try reinstalling your mouse software and drivers or updating them.

Another possible reason is that your Windows scaling feature may be enabled which increases the size of text, apps, and other items to make them easier to see. This can cause mouse lag or stutter when playing games. You can try disabling Windows scaling to see if it helps

How do I find the exact drivers for the mouse?

These are wacom, the last one is msmouse, is that it? I have a logitech mouse and I already uninstalled the G hub thing

Tried updating chipset drivers as well, didn't help sadly.

 

Made a video where the issue is more visible. Also noticed when I have something else in focus it isn't affected, but as soon as I switch back to the games it starts stuttering
