Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Sennheiser headset and a portable amplifier, I use a 3.5 cable to connect the headset to the amplifier, and then a USB-C cable to connect it to my phone.

The short USB-C cable that was included with the amplifier became loose after a couple of days, and since then I have been on the hunt for a cable that is capable of transferring digital audio, durable and short (no more than 4-5 inches).

I found one cable on amazon that is durable and short, but unfortunately, it was an analog cable, which makes it useless with my Pixel 7 pro, I asked Chat-GPT for suggestions, and it gave me multiple ones, but all the links were not working, and when I googled them I found nothing, which suggests that the items got discontinued.

If anyone has any suggestions for a short, durable and digital USB-C to USB-C cable that would be great, it doesn't have to be from amazon.

Thanks!!

Have you tried to clean out the Type C ports, I thought that my cable was bad until I used something non-metallic to dig a bunch of lint out of the port and then the cable fit in just fine.

I don't have any real suggestions for a cable, but out of curiosity what portable amp did you get?  I'm thinking of getting one soon.

Audio go Brrrrrr

I have not tried that yet, but the cables fit just fine, I feel like it is mainly the cable quality that causes the issue.

I bought my headset (Sennheiser HD 569 Closed-Back Headphones) and my AMP (Questyle M12 Mobile Headphone DAC / Amp) from a local store in Toronto Canada, the AMP is Working great with my headset it is loud and clear, but it is a bit pricy for my headset because it does not work as great with higher end headsets like the Sennheiser HD 600, which will force me to buy a better one if I want to upgrade.
