Keyboard Wrist Rest!

Long time watcher newcomer to the forums.

Had an idea for merch I didn't see on the LTT Store.

There are a lot of keyboards on the market (mechanical and otherwise) that don't come with wrist rests for ergonomics. With this idea there are multiple dimensions that would have to be involved. I am thinking maybe a few that could be somewhat universal in size.

 

Maybe offer 2 or 3 different rest angles/heights.

 

Then for lengths maybe consider the following:

1. One size to fit most 100% keyboards.
2. Another size to fit tenkeyless and 1800 compact.
3. Another one to fit 60%, 65%, and 75% keyboards.
4. The the last one can be 2 separate pucks for split keyboard users. But this option could just be built into the 60/65/75 size as that size can be detachable in the middle.

Different color ways/branding. Hard plastic/acrylic, plastic frame with firm cushion, or (maybe) just a cushion.

Maybe for the clammy hands people (like myself) have small built in fans to help dry them. (Either through USB-C power passthrough or battery powered)

 

(This has me thinking about another idea for a desk mounted hand blower with a heater switch to turn it on or off. Might make another post)
