RTX A4000/45000

Hi, all.

Does anyone know if the RTX A4000/4500 are any good at doubling as gaming GPUs? If not, have the 30 or 40 series GPUs improved enough to run Solidworks?

pony up for an A5000 this would game about as good as a RTX 3080 

On the other hand like on benches a RTX 3080 performs as good as an A5000 in rendering etc but the issue is the drivers and that quite a few pieces of software dont like the gaming drivers or dont even like to see that a non "quadrolike" card is trying to run their code so you gonna have quality of life issues more often than not.

So if you are just a student and know that you are not gonna become a valedictorian and mainly gonna game but also dont want to fall behind in class, a gaming gpu lke the 3080 will be just fine, you gonna have to tinker here and there for a solution/workaround when doing your homework but see that as part of the learning experience   Your gaming will be top notch and for less money compared to the a5000 (or if you dont mind spending 2+K then you could go for a 3090)
