Hey guys, I'm aiming to build a pc for under $1000 (excluding peripherals) that will allow medium to high end current gen gaming and support at least 30fps on most next gen titles. Any opinions on this set up?

Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3

GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB OC Gaming Edition

CPU: AMD FX-6300 Black Edition

RAM: Kingston Hyper X Fury 8GB

PSU: Antec VP650 650W

HDD: Seagate Barracude 2TB HDD

I will also be purchasing an SSD so that doesn't need mentioning and perhaps a an extra 8GB of RAM however I'm still on the fence as to whether 16GB is really needed for gaming.

Any opinion will be valued, thanks.

When you said "excluding Peripherals" I'm assuming you meant the display as well. This is a suggestion I came up with that doesn't include a display. I upped the GPU to a GTX 770. Should have no issues playing games at 30fps.

He's using AUD, not USD.
