Audio popping/static?

A faulty power supply could 100% cause that issue.  The new GPU probably puts much more load on the PSU, and could be causing electromagnetic interference (EMI) which is easily picked up by integrated audio.  I would wait for the new PSU before you try to troubleshoot further.

I have astro a10 gen 1s, never had an issue before, got a new 3070 ti and suddenly the audio gets poppy/static sometimes. I used DDU in safe mode to reinstall the drivers, I turned off fast boot (some article online mentioned it was causing issues with it), not sure what else to try.

Which port on your computer do you use? Have you tried the 3.5mm jack on the backplate?

Hey, yes thats the one I use because if I use the front ones, my discord people can hear my game, super weird.

I am wondering if my faulty power supply is the cause? I had another post where we narrowed down my PSU is faulty, so im currently waiting on a new one, could that be causing the audio issue too?

Update: I am stumped. I tried uninstalling my audio drivers with DDU in safe mode and reinstalling, no fix. I tried a different headset on this PC, still popping. I took my headset to another PC, no popping. Seems to be a PC issue, but if drivers doesn't fix it, the hell will?

Bad motherboard? Few years old but not too crazy, some evil software on my PC maybe? only thing I installed recently is MSI kombustor and unigine superposition, so I could work on overclocking my card. Of course thats on hold because I had to swap out my PSU, and now this audio issue...

Edit: I gave google a try again and found this (see SS), mine was set to 0% so I googled recommended which is 5, and set it to 5, maybe this is the issue.image.png.e389d32a579b235c2db481dd95e46451.png

Testing this now.
