RTX 4070 TI or RX 7900 XT (Same price)

Adaaam1989

Hi,

Im about to upgrade my PC and cant decide if I should go for 4070ti or 7900 xt. Ill pair the GPU with i5 13600kf or i7 13700f.

What do you guys think?

I mainly use PC for gaming, 1080p now but will change to 1440p with new GPU. Also the price for both GPU is kinda the same.

7900xt is the more powerful gpu unless you use any programs that require Nvidia gpu. As previously stated 4070 ti is also better at raytracing.

If no video editing, 3d rendering, anything that needs cuda is needed go amd its gonna simply last longer by having more vram that and it's normally a bit faster

Nvidia does have better raytracing if that is something you care about

Or should I go for RX 6950 XT, 250euro less than 7900/4070ti?

How to decide:

Step 1: Evaluate your needs, do you need CUDA (sometimes useful for AI things)? Do you need RTX (used by some games)? Do you need Optix (Blender)?

Step 2: Buy

well I hope today goes well.

I'd spend the money and the 7900xt its newer and a little bit faster then the 6950xt.Also the 7900xt uses less power if that matters to you.

4070 Ti have frame generation that in future game will be more important than just raw power.
